سلام It means peace. :)

reverthelp:

The beautiful thing about life is that you can always change, grow and get better. You aren’t defined by your past. You aren’t your mistakes. Please repent and move on. Stay positive. Today is a new day! Please keep in mind that happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.

islam2011:

Every calamity, no matter how big it might be, loses its power when the servant thinks about the reward he will get from Allah for staying patient and grateful.

islamic-art-and-quotes:

“The Quran is not just a book that mentions stories which are centuries old: it is a book that mentions the present. “We have certainly sent down to you a Book in which is your mention. Will you then not reason?” (Quran 21:10)”

Babar Ahmad

islam-reflections:

“The more you take care of other people the more Allah will take care of you.”

— Nouman Ali Khan

al-firdaus:

‏من عاش لشيءٍ مات عليه، ومن مات على شيءٍ بُعث عليه.

فلتحيوا مع القرآن

Whoever lives for something, dies on it, and whoever dies on something will be raised on it. So live with the Qur'an.

notduaa:

If I honestly had to give one piece of advice to anyone, it would be to make istighfar as much as you can.

You’ll see the difference it makes. You’ll see your dua’s get answered and you’ll see how Allāh facilitates things for you in ways you never imagined.

Maybe the only thing stopping you from getting what you want is your own sins, and the lack of istighfar.

You want to get married but it’s just not working out. You want kids but you’re unable to. You want a job and you go to countless amounts of interviews but never get the job. Whatever else it is.

Make du’a and make istighfar.

They go hand and hand with each other. You’ll see how He provides and facilitates these things for you as soon as you sincerely do these two actions.

Tips that have helped my Salaah…

ammsaa:

ammsaa:

- Imagine the Ka’bah in front of you
- Pray as if you can see Jannah and Jahannam
- Standing for Salaah will make your standing on Yawmul Qiyamah easier
- Pray as if it’s your last
- Every time you say ‘Allahu Akbar’, it’s a reminder that Allah is Greater than anything that could occupy your thoughts
- Stand for Salaah with fear and love of Allah, and hope in His Mercy
- Remember that Allah is watching, and He knows that you’re trying

Just a few more….
- Really focus on the meanings of what you are saying (if you do not understand the words, look up the translations beforehand)
- Prolong your sujood
- Pause between each action (e.g. rising from ruku’)
- Before Salaah, prepare your mind by reading Qur'an or doing dhikr
- Make sure nothing is distracting you, such as your phone or needing to use the toilet
- Concentrate during your wudhu
- Remember that each word or action could be your last
